【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodevaluatesthestress/timepropertiesofgeosyntheticsbyusinghydrostaticpressuretocompressthegeosyntheticoversyntheticornaturaltestbasesconsistingofmanufacturedtestpyramids/cones,rocks,soilorvoids.1.2Thistestmethodallowstheusertodeterminetherelativefailuremode,pointsoffailureforgeosynthetics,orboth.1.3Thistestmethodofferstwodistinctprocedures.1.3.1ProcedureAincorporatesmanufacturedtestpyramidsorconesasthebaseofthetestingapparatus.ProcedureAisintendedtocreatecomparabledatabetweenlaboratories,andcanbeusedasaguideforroutineacceptancetestforvariousmaterials.1.3.2ProcedureBincorporatessitespecificsoilorothermaterialselectedbytheuserasthetestbaseofthetestingapparatus.ProcedureBisamethodforgeosyntheticdesignforaspecificsite.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
