【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstwogradesofextrudedpreformedflexiblecellularpolyolefinthermalinsulation.Grade1isforoperatingtemperaturesfrom-150Fto200F(-101Cto93C).Grade2isforoperatingtemperaturesfrom-297Fto250F(-182Cto121C).Forspecificapplications,theactualtemperaturelimitshallbeagreeduponbetweenthemanufacturerandthepurchaser.1.2Theuseofthermalinsulationmaterialscoveredbythisspecificationaregovernedbycodesandstandardsthataddressfireperformance.Contactmanufacturerforspecificperformanceofproductattheintendedusethickness.1.3Thisspecificationcoversthephysicalpropertiesofpreformedflexiblecellularpolyolefinthermalinsulation,whichhavebeendeemedmandatoryforthermaldesign.Physicalpropertiessuchasdensityandcoefficientofthermalexpansion(CTE)havebeendeemednonmandatoryforthermaldesign.Nonmandatoryphysicalpropertieshavebeenincludedinforinformationpurposesonly.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricunitequivalentsofinch-poundunits,giveninparentheses,areapproximate.1.5Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
