【摘要】:Themainpurposeofthisstandardistoproviderequirementsforacceptanceinspectionofelectronbeamweldingmachinespreferablywhenfirstinstalledontheuser'spremises.Thisstandardcan(infullorinpart)bereferredtoincontractsforsupplyofelectronbeamweldingmachines.Furthertestsarenotnormallyrequiredifproofofsatisfactoryweldingresultsisprovidedintheformofroutineinspectiondocumentation.However,therequirementsofthestandardcanalsobeusedforinspectionaspartofmaintenance,ifrequiredbycontract.Ifmodificationsaremadetoanelectronbeamweldingmachine(rebuilding,repairs,modificationtotheoperatingconditionsetc.)suchasmayhaveaneffectontheacceptanceinspection,repeattestscanbenecessarycoveringthemachineparametersaffectedbysuchmodifications.Ifaweldingmachinethathasalreadybeenacceptedisdismantled(e.g.inordertochangeitslocation),suchtestswouldinvolveverificationaccordingtotherequirementsinclauses4,6.2to6.4and7.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofrefractiveindexes,accuratetotwounitsinthefourthdecimalplace,oftransparentandlight-coloredviscoushydrocarbonliquidsandmeltedsolidsthathaverefractiveindexesintherangebetween1.33and1.60,andattemperaturesfrom80to100C.Temperatureslowerthan80Ccanbeusedprovidedthatthemeltingpointofthesampleisatleast10Cbelowthetesttemperature.Thistestmethodisnotapplicable,withintheaccuracystated,toliquidshavingcolorsdarkerthanASTMColorNo.4,ASTMcolorasdeterminedbyTestMethodD1500,toliquidswhichsmokeorvaporizereadilyatthetesttemperature,ortosolidsmeltingwithin10Cofthetesttemperature.Note1-Theinstrumentcanbesuccessfullyusedforrefractiveindicesabove1.60;butsincecertifiedliquidstandardsforrangesabove1.60arenotyetavailable,theaccuracyofmeasurementundertheseconditionshasnotbeenevaluated.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
