【摘要】:1.1Thesespecificationsdescribethepropertiesofdevicesorassembliessuitableforuseasflexibletransitioncouplings,hereinafterreferredtoascouplings,forundergrounddrainageandsewerpipingsystems.1.2Couplingsthatmayincludebushingsorinsertsandthatmeettherequirementsofthisstandardaresuitableforjoiningplainendpipeorfittings.Thepipetobejoinedshallbeofsimilarordissimilarmaterials,size,orboth.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4TheASTMstandardsreferencedhereinshallbeconsideredmandatory.1.5Thecommitteewithjurisdictionoverthisstandardisnotawareofanothercomparablestandardformaterialscoveredinthisstandard.
