【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedfordeterminingemissionfactorsandemissionratesforlowmasswood-burningfireplaces.Theemissionfactorisusefulfordeterminingemissionperformanceduringproductdevelopment.Theemissionfactorisusefulfortheairqualityregulatorycommunityfordeterminingcompliancewithemissionperformancelimits.Theemissionratemaybeusefulfortheairqualityregulatorycommunityfordeterminingimpactsonairqualityfromfireplaces,butmustbeusedwithcautionasusepatternsmustbefactoredintoanypredictionofatmosphericparticulatematterimpactsfromfireplacesbasedonresultsfromthismethod.Thereportingunitsaregramsofparticulateperkilogramofdryfuelandgramsofparticulateperhour.Appropriatereportingunitsforcomparingemissionsfromnon-heatingappliances:g/kg.Appropriatereportingunitsforpredictingatmosphericemissionimpactsonlyifhoursoffireplaceusearefactoredin:g/h.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthefuelingandoperatingprotocolfordeterminingparticulatematteremissionsfromwoodfiresinlowmasswood-burningfireplaces.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-poundunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
