【摘要】:1.1ThisspecificationcoversrigidPVCandCPVCcompoundsintendedforgeneralpurposeuseinextrudedormoldedformincludingpressurepipingapplicationsandnonpressurepipingapplicationscomposedofpoly(vinylchloride),chlorinatedpoly(vinylchloride),orvinylchloridecopolymerscontainingatleast80%vinylchloride,andthenecessarycompoundingingredients.Thecompoundingingredientsshallbepermittedtoconsistoflubricants,stabilizers,non-poly(vinylchloride)resinmodifiers,pigments,andinorganicfillers.Note18212;Selectionofspecificcompoundsforparticularendusesorapplicationsrequiresconsiderationofothercharacteristicssuchasthermalproperties,opticalproperties,weatherresistance,etc.Specificrequirementsandtestmethodsforthesepropertiesshouldbebymutualagreementbetweenthepurchaserandtheseller.Note28212;Selectionofcompoundsforpressurepipingapplicationsrequiresconsiderationofmaterialstressratingsthatarerequiredfordeterminingpressureratings,butarenotaddressedinthisspecification.Requirementsforlong-termmaterialstressratingsinaccordancewithrecognizedstressratingstandards,suchasHDBinaccordancewithTestMethodD2837forpressurepiping,shouldbeincludedinspecificationsforpressurepipingproductsorsystems.Note38212;Thelistofcompoundingingredientsin1.1isnotmeanttobeanexhaustivelistofallowablecompoundingredients.Inadditiontothecompoundingingredientslisted,othersmayalsobeused.Thelistofcompoundingingredientsin1.1doesnotimplythateveryingredientlistedisarequiredingredient.Somecompoundsmaynotcontainalltheingredientslistedin1.1.1.2ForapplicationsinvolvingspecialchemicalresistanceseeClassificationD5260.1.3Therequirementsinthisspecificationareintendedforthequalitycontrolofcompoundsusedtomanufacturefinishedproducts.Thesepropertiesarebasedondataobtainedusingstandardtestspecimenstestedunderspecifiedconditions.Theyarenotdirectlyapplicabletofinishedproducts.SeetheapplicableASTMstandardsforrequirementsforfinishedproducts.1.4Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisspecification.1.5RigidPVCrecycleplasticsmeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationmaybeusedinsomeapplications.Refertothespecificrequirementsinthematerialsandmanufacturesectionoftheapplicableproductstandard.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.7Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section11,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note48212;Thisspecificationissimilarincontent(butnottechnicallyequivalent)toISO1163-1:1985andISO1163-2:1980.
